Nurse Educator
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland
Description: U.S. Army Public Health Command is at present looking to employ Nurse Educator right now, this position will be placed in Maryland. More details about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. This appointment includes but is not limited to:
- Participate as a team member in a dynamic group that delivers primary preventive services to a diverse populat! ion.
- Participate in providing six core programs (i.e., health assessment review, physical fitness, healthy nutrition, stress management, general wellness education, and tobacco education) as part of the standardized Army Wellness Center process.
- Skills required include ability to conduct evidence based health promotion programs based on behavioral change theories, proficient in public speaking, ability to provide health coaching, and knowledge of basic health sciences to include anatomy/physiology, basic exercise science, health psychology, basic nutrition, exercise programming, and counseling techniques.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and ability to function well in a fast paced team environment.
