One of 14 units in the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center . Challenging care of the most critically ill patients in Maryland who have sustained multiple traumatic injuries or a severe life-threatening single system injury. Patients are transitioned to a separate Multi-trauma IMC Unit (with separate staff) once more stable.
The University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in our Shock Tra uma Center Multitrauma Critical Care Unit. Located at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards; you won't find a more vibrant place to work!

Qualifications include:
- Prior recent experience as RN in Critical Care, ICU or ED for Minimum of 1 year.
- Prior Trauma ICU or Trauma IMC experience preferred.
- No Opportunities for Nursing Graduates at this time
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred;
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
