Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced security professional to support an emerging program on the Advanced Development Programs (ADP), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) branch inside the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization. Seeking a skilled and motivated Enterprise Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) with strong Special Access Program (SAP) understanding and experience with an all-embracing knowledge to support Development, Production, and Sustainment activities and perform in the role for implementing, overseeing, and maintaining an enterprise security program. This position is located at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California.

The SES organization oversees the operations of classified facilities and ensures the implementation of operative security controls intended for the protection of unclassified, proprietary, and classified national security information (NSI) developed by or entrusted to Lockheed Martin as a member of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The SES organization applies numerous resources to mitigate risk across operational domains through a variety of security administration standards, control strategies, and oversight levels that align with corporate requests and expectations.

Selected candidate will lead a multi-site enterprise team through direct supervision while actively supporting the day to day activities within the program. Candidate will routinely interface directly with customers, internal and external senior leadership as well as program management. Candidate will be responsible for overall execution and management of all contractual program security requirements, to include: security employee actions and oversight, Personnel Security (PERSEC), Security Education, physical, technical, and classification management, utilizing the requirements set forth in the DoD SAP manuals.

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Current Top Secret security clearance investigation within 6 years from the investigation date.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) accesses.
  • Experience providing Security Support across the spectrum in a SAP Environment
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, and ICD 705
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge, understanding, and application of the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07 manuals
  • The ability to emphasize tasks and at times solve tedious challenges
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; can communicate with parties within and outside of own job function.
  • Working knowledge/experience of DISS, JADE, ACCS, SIMS and SESIDS software
  • Accessibility to be on call and be able to at times to support non-traditional work hours or odd shifts as required by program needs
  • Experience with the accreditation process of a SAPFs to include new construction and associated Construction Security Plans (CSP)
  • Knowledge of the requirements supporting the development and maintenance of Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment, acquisition, and maintenance of an Authority to Operate (ATO), duties and responsibilities of the ISSM/ISSO position
  • Experience hosting and managing large external customer meetings, overseeing responsibilities as a Top Secret Control Officer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $111,200 - $209,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
