Job Summary:
Call on health care professionals in assigned sales territory and communicate product advantages,
features and benefits. Play a vital role in fostering the Company’s reputation and image. Responsible
for selling and promoting the Company’s products in a highly professional, ethical and knowledgeable manner.
Requirements:
Achieve or exceed sales objectives in assigned territory.
Build relationships with physicians and key thought leaders and influencing physicians and healthcare providers to prescribe Company’s promoted products.
Analyze customer needs and interests.
Comply with applicable laws in providing physicians with pharmaceutical samples and literature.
Represent the Company in a highly professional and ethical manner, and foster the Company’s reputation and image.
Continually enhance product and disease state knowledge by participating in assigned training and completing outside r! eading.
Serve as a disease state expert and provide a high! level of product expertise and customer service for all accounts.
Carry out all sales and marketing programs including occasional evening and weekend events in the approved manner.
Maintain all equipment and territorial records in the prescribed manner.
Utilize sales force automation system and other equipment to enhance impact of sales call and territory management.
Transport materials (samples, visual aids, audio visual and other electronic equipment) up to 25 pounds into physician’s office.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS/BA.
B2B, B2C or Pharmaceutical sales experience with a documented record of meeting and exceeding sales
goals preferred, though consideration may be given to teachers, nurses and others with a clinical background.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
