Resident Care Supervisor
Location: Hagerstown Maryland

Facility/Program: Diakon Senior Living Hagerstown - Ravenwood Campus
Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Part-time/30 hours per 2 week pay period/Night Shift
Education/Training: Graduate of an approved school of nursing; a BS degree in Nursing preferred; current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; excellent interpersonal relations and communicative skills; thorough knowledge of current long-term care nursing practices in accordance with the State Department of Health long-term care li! censure regulations and federal health care financing administ! ration; knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities; demonstrated decision-making skill; knowledge of hazardous materials, bloodborne pathogens and infection control procedures; moderate computer skills; proficient organizational skills of nursing care center of less than 90 beds ; proficient assessment skills; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; current C.P.R. certification (or eligibility and pursuit of certification); satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical (post-offer); ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
Experience : A minimum of one (1) year experience working as a charge nurse in a long-term care geriatric setting preferred.
General Responsibilities : Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all operations of the assigned facility.
