The Burn Coordinator is responsible for the management and certification of the Johns Hopkins Adult Burn Center from both the American Burn Association (ABA) and the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Systems (MIEMSS). The Coordinator is the lead facilitator for the hospital department, physicians, external agencies, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center
MS required or actively enrolled in a Master's Degree program
3 years Burn or Trauma ICU experience
Experience in quality and performance improvement preferred
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must demonstrate ability to work independently
Possession of critical thinking, analytical, teaching/coaching skills
Staff/patient education skills preferred
Must demonstrate ability to work well with patient/families, nursing, physicians and ancillary staff
Current Maryland RN license
CPR Required , AHA Healthcare Provider
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed
