The opportunity:

Visy Board specialise in manufacturing innovative corrugated cardboard packaging solutions, using highly automated production machinery. The site at Wiri was established in 1997, and has since continuously grown and developed.

We are currently looking for a Sale Support team member to join our team based in Wiri, Auckland. Reporting to the Sales Centre Manager your main objection is to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers of the business via phone and email. You will work closely with our Account Managers and support them with customer administration activities to enable them to deliver on our Sales KPI’s. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end quote process which involves, creating quotes, managing queries, arranging samples, following through with all departments and ensuring samples, corresponding quote and proofs are ready for the Account Managers to present our customers. Part of your role involves Tele-Sales where you will address new business leads and convert them into sales. This will be done through outbound sales activities. You will work on growing our existing account base, by identifying new business opportunities and coordinate outstanding leads in VRM.

What you will bring to the team:

Your friendly mannerism and great communication skills will see you shine in this role. You are someone who is highly motivated, results orientated and is technical minded. You will have a customer focused attitude and strong work ethic along with the following:

  • Experience in Tele-sales and customer service administration, in the manufacturing industry.
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and a passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiencies.
