COMPRESSORTECH2, a global trade publication focusing on the natural gas compression industry, is looking for an editor. This position is responsible for all content-related activities, including:
· coordinating editorial coverage and direction,
· writing and editing of magazine and website content,
· working with industry contributors and freelancers,
· scheduling weekly newsletter,
· production of multi-media content (videos, podcasts),
· management of issues through production.
The position will also require attendance at relevant trade shows and conferences (both national and international), as well as organizing and hosting of an annual company-sponsored event.
A minimum of five years’ experience in journalism/communications is required, with an emphasis in technical writing preferred. Preference will be given to those with prior knowledge of the gas compression industry or a wider understanding of the oil & gas or petrochemicals sectors.
The position is remote and candidates from anywhere in the USA will be considered, with additional preference given to those located in the Houston or surrounding areas.
