The Nursing Support Technician II participates as a member of the healthcare team in the delivery of high quality patient care utilizing the tenets of service excellence. Under the supervision of the Registere! d Nurse, the Nurse Support Tech II performs delegated patient care procedures and observes, reports, and records patient conditions and information. The Tech assists the healthcare team with specific treatments and/or procedures in an acute or intermediate care facility.
Requirements:
Required: -High School Diploma or GED -Successful completion of a CNA or GNA course and successful completion of a Community College Technician Program or Hospital based Technician Program -0-1 year of current clinical experience -Critical Thinking skills -Ability to Prioritize License Requirements: -Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) License with the Maryland Board of Nursing. Must be licensed to practice in Maryland or must be able to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board Certification Requirements: -Healthcare Provider Level CPR
