Job Summary:
To assess, plan, implement the nursing care to meet the patie! nts’ needs, by following the appropriate policy and procedures of the assigned department. To render behavioral nursing care to the patients on the behavioral health unit.
Education:
Position requires an associate's degree (A.A) or diploma program.
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Registered Nurse Certification; State Licensure
Experience:
Position requires minimum of one year of related experience.
Other Requirements:
Physically able to place in therapeutic hold/apply mechanical restraints to potentially combative/acting out individuals.
CPR certified within the last day of the month following the month of the new hire start date or return from FMLA.
CPI required within 3 months of hire or return from FMLA.
