IM OR GERIATRIC HOSPITALIST NEEDED! Light call/Flexible scheduling! Looking for IM OR GERIATRIC HOSPITALIST with interest in! long term care, acute care hospital work including Hospice/palliative care/geriatrics! Practice out of a modern Geriatric Center, part of a state-of-the-art 478-bed teaching hospital. Services based at a modern Geriatric Center and Hospital includes a geriatric medicine outpatient clinic, a Geriatric Assessment Program and a number of inpatient services. Those services include subacute care, nursing home, chronic hospital, dementia unit and geriatric medicine consultation to the Inpatient Rehabilitation and Geropsychiatry units. A very competitive financial/benefit package is being offered to include 4 weeks vacation, CME time, bonus opportunity based on clinical and productivity. Good customer service skills a plus! Flexible scheduling! The position currently requires 8 weeks of call/year and on-site for weekends (resulting in additional compensation for).
