Job Description:
Ensure! proper injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of minor illnesses
Evaluation of trauma and perform skin laceration repair as needed
Follow basic clinical care standards meet operational guidelines
Operate C-Arm machine and perform image capture and interpretation
Orthopedic injury management
Complete chart documentation
Prescribe and administer medications, ensuring that prescriptions are legible, accurate and clinically appropriate
Consult with the Medical Director-On-Call (MDOC) in the event of complex medical cases and when patients may need referral to a specialist or the emergency department
Promote a safe working environment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations including HIPAA, OSHA and MOSH
Interpret and support corporate goals
Required Skills:
Medical Degree from an accredited school required
Licensed to practice in Maryland
! Minimum of 1-year experience post residency, preferably in urgent care/emergency medicine
Orthopedic trauma management skills required
Laceration repair skills required
Excellent patient management skills and solid clinical judgment required
