CLINICAL PHARMACIST
Location: Olney Maryland
Description: Montgomery General Hospital is at the momment seeking for CLINICAL PHARMACIST right now, this position will be placed in Maryland. Further informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from accredited school is required. Pharm.D. strongly preferred. Must have valid Maryland Licensure.
Previous hospital pharmacy and anticoagulation! experience is preferred. Duties involve assessing and monitoring patients on anticoagulation therapy, interpreting physician orders, preparing and dispensing of medications, IV solutions, chemotherapy, and TPNs. Experience with automated clinical systems is preferred. Provide counseling and product information to physicians, nursing staff, and patients.
May direct and supervise the filling of prescriptions and practices of pharmacy technicians.
