This position is responsible for coordinating all of the activities of the MUMA clinic. Monitors and assists clinic
staff with the multiple tasks related to referrals, pre-certification, and pre-authorizations necessary to allow
for patient care and procedures. This position is responsible for multiple functions including supporting and
overseeing patient scheduling, patient care coordination, and may be required to triage patient calls to
physicians and coordinate patient appointments. Position requires working knowledge of clinic operations,
policies and procedures, and understanding of clinical department.
- 6 months medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT & ICD-9 coding
- High School Diploma or equivalent
