Job Description
We are presently seeking a Freight Broker/Freight Agent who meets the following qualifications:
- Possesses a minimum of 12 months of experience as a Freight Agent/Freight Agent
- Has a pre-existing customer base
- The candidate should have a deep knowledge understanding of the freight industry, including trends, rates, and regulations, and be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
· Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in the freight industry.
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with shippers to secure profitable business deals.
· Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding freight rates, delivery schedules, and other related services.
· Maintain and update customer records and sales activity reports in a CRM system
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, rates, and regulations to provide the most competitive pricing to customers.
Requirements:
· High school Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
· 1+ years of experience in sales and negotiations as a Freight Broker/Agent
· Has a pre-existing customer base
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
